Privacy policy

Villa Pergia is a single holiday property let directly by its owners. This page explains what happens to the information you send us. Last updated 18 August 2026.

Who is responsible

Villa Pergia, Petrou Christou 9, Neo Chorio, Paphos, Cyprus. For anything on this page, write to contact@villapergia.com.

What we collect when you enquire

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, arrival and departure dates, the number of guests, and anything you write in the message box. We collect nothing else, and there are no hidden fields beyond a spam trap that is discarded.

We use it for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you go on to book, to arrange your stay. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

  • FormSubmit delivers the enquiry form to our inbox. Your submission passes through their servers on the way to us.
  • Our email provider stores the resulting message, as with any email.
  • GitHub Pages hosts this site and processes your IP address as part of serving the page, which any web host must do.
  • Google Fonts and Font Awesome serve the typefaces and icons, which means your browser contacts them when the page loads.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies at all unless you agree to analytics. Nothing is loaded, and no cookie is written, before you choose.

If you accept, we load Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and tell us which pages people read. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, Google Analytics is never loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again, and you can change it at any time using the button below.

How long we keep things

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to an actual stay are kept for as long as Cypriot tax and accounting law requires, and then deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Email contact@villapergia.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
